Madsen kisses him again before breaking away to pull her shirt off fully - and there they were to bear - the patches of scarring at her chest and shoulder, and the jagged line that ran diagonally across her back. There's a split second of hesitation before she tosses it away, cupping his jaw with one hand while she traces her lips along the opposite side of his neck. The less she thought about it, the less likely for her to get self-conscious about her scars.]
